If you edit videos, write content or design graphics, this is a rare chance to work on national campaigns. All four openings were posted on 20 October 2026.

Open positions and last dates

Position

Last date to apply

Video Editor (Jr.)

3 November 2026

Video Editor (Mid)

3 November 2026

Content Writer (Sr.)

3 November 2026

Graphic Designer (Mid)

20 November 2026

Each role has its own job profile PDF and its own Google Form for applications on the official Work at MyGov page. The qualification, experience and other terms are given in each job profile, so read the PDF for the role you choose before filling the form.

What these roles involve

Video Editor: editing short videos, reels and campaign films for MyGov’s social media and website. The Jr. level suits candidates with a little experience; the Mid level expects a stronger portfolio.

Content Writer (Sr.): writing clear, engaging content on government schemes and campaigns for a very large audience.

Graphic Designer (Mid): creating social media creatives, infographics and campaign visuals.

These are contract roles. Job profiles for MyGov roles typically mention a probation period and that continuation depends on performance, so check the exact terms in the PDF.

How to apply

Open mygov.in/work-at-mygov.

Click Job Profile under your chosen role and read the eligibility.

Keep your updated resume and a portfolio link ready (YouTube, Behance, Google Drive or a personal website). For creative jobs, the portfolio matters more than the resume.

Click the Apply link, which opens the official Google Form for that role, and submit it before the last date.

Tips to get shortlisted

Show 3 to 5 of your best pieces, preferably on social causes, public awareness or explainers, since that is MyGov’s style.

For video roles, include at least one vertical reel and one longer edited video.

For writing, share samples that explain a scheme or policy in simple language.

Write a short cover note. Our cover letter generator can give you a quick first draft.

Looking for more creative or remote roles?
