Technical, Finance and Engineering AM papers carry a 60-mark Professional Knowledge section, and JE (Technical) has a 65-mark Subject Knowledge section. Minimum qualifying marks in the subject and descriptive tests are 40% for UR and 35% for reserved categories. There is a <strong>1\/4 negative marking<\/strong> for wrong answers.<\/p>\n<h2>Salary and benefits<\/h2>\n<p>Assistant Managers are placed in the E-1 IDA scale of Rs 40,000\u20131,40,000 and Junior Executives in S-V of Rs 29,000\u201393,000. On top of basic pay you get IDA, other allowances, CPF, contributory pension, gratuity, LTC, performance-related pay and medical cover as per CWC rules. The actual monthly in-hand depends on the IDA rate at the time and your posting city, so treat basic pay only as the starting point.
