Eligibility
- Education: Graduation from a recognised university, with mark sheets and provisional/final degree issued on or after 01.04.2022. Older graduates are not eligible.
- Age (as on 01.10.2026): 20 to 28 years for UR/EWS. Relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC (NCL) 3 years, PwBD 10–15 years. Widowed, divorced or legally separated women who have not remarried can apply up to 35 (UR/EWS), 38 (OBC) or 40 (SC/ST). Check yours with our age calculator.
- Local language: You must read, write, speak and understand one local language of the state you apply for. If your 10th or 12th mark sheet shows you studied it, the language test is waived.
- One state only: Multiple applications are rejected.

The medium is English/Hindi. Minimum qualifying marks are 40 for General/EWS and 35 for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD. Merit is drawn state-wise and category-wise, and older candidates rank higher in a tie. After that come document verification, the local language test and a medical fitness check.
Stipend
You get Rs 16,650 per month: Rs 10,500 from UCO Bank and Rs 6,150 as the government share via DBT (subject to government guidelines). No other allowances are paid. Training hours follow the bank’s clerical staff timings.

Who should apply: honest tips
- Only one week is left. If you are not on NATS yet, register today, as the BFSI SSC email can take time.
- You are not eligible if you have already done, or are doing, an apprenticeship, or have one year or more of job experience after graduation.
- Apprenticeship does not guarantee a bank job, but the exam pattern is close to IBPS Clerk prelims, so preparation helps both.
