How much will you earn?
RBI pays a fixed ₹600 per hour. You can work up to 5 hours a day, so the maximum is ₹3,000 per day. There is no fixed monthly salary and no allowances. If you are called for, say, 22 days in a month at 5 hours a day, you would earn about ₹66,000 that month, but the number of days depends entirely on RBI’s need. Use our hourly to monthly salary calculator to work out your own estimate.
Contract terms you should know
- Selected candidates are placed on a panel. Being on the panel does not guarantee regular work.
- Engagement is need-based, for a maximum of 240 days at a stretch.
- RBI can end the engagement without notice. This is not regular RBI employment.
Selection process
- Shortlisting based on qualification, experience and how close you live to the dispensaries.
- Interview.
- Medical examination and document verification.
- Empanelment.
No written exam is mentioned, and no travel allowance is paid for attending the interview.
