About the role
Coinbase is a global crypto platform focused on expanding economic freedom. The Country Director will lead its India business inside the Consumer and Business International team, with full ownership of strategy, growth and revenue in the Indian market.
What you will do
- Own user growth, revenue and long-term market position for Coinbase in India
- Turn market, regulatory and competitor analysis into a clear country plan
- Lead India projects with marketing, business development, legal, compliance and policy teams
- Work with product and engineering to launch products that suit Indian rules and users
- Engage regulators, industry bodies, partners and media, and build a strong local team
Who can apply
- At least 5 years as a senior leader (CEO, COO, GM, country head or founder) growing a platform, fintech, e-commerce or trading business in India
- Direct experience working with Indian financial regulators and policy makers
- Track record launching products in regulated sectors with licensing and compliance needs
- Ability to lead inside a remote-first, global matrix organisation
