About the role
JumpCloud builds an AI-powered platform that lets lean IT teams manage identities, devices and access in one place. This director will set the design vision for the whole product and lead a distributed team of designers and design managers from India.
What you will do
- Define a multi-year experience vision covering the admin console, end-user flows and AI-driven workflows
- Own key end-to-end workflows together with product partners, including sign-in, permissions and recovery
- Run research, usability testing and experience metrics such as NPS and adoption
- Lead design reviews, accessibility standards and the design system from Figma to code
- Hire and grow designers and managers and bring AI tools into everyday design work
Who can apply
- 10+ years in product design, including 4+ years managing design managers and mixed teams in B2B SaaS
- Proven record of measurable experience improvements such as adoption, task success or lower support volume
- Experience designing AI-powered or security-critical products; identity, IT or developer tools background is a plus
- Advanced Figma skills and hands-on prototyping in code with AI tools such as Claude or Cursor
Work from home details
This role is remote in India and you must be based in India with the right to work there. The design team is spread across the US, India and Turkey, so some overlap across time zones is expected.
