About the role
Forward Deployed Engineers at Databricks build real, production-grade data and AI systems together with customers on the Databricks platform. It is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role: you design the architecture, write the code and help the customer's team adopt the solution.
What you will do
- Design and build end-to-end systems covering data engineering, AI/ML model integration and applications
- Lead architecture decisions so solutions are secure, scalable and follow best practices
- Work inside customer teams, from engineers to executives
- Share product feedback with Databricks engineering and support teams
Who can apply
- 6+ years in data engineering, data platforms and analytics, or software engineering
- Comfortable coding in Python, Scala or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with cloud data platforms and good communication with customers
Work from home details
Listed as Remote – India. Being a customer-facing role, some travel can be required.
