About the role
Coinbase's CX Intelligence team runs the multi-agent AI platform behind its customer chat, Help Center and support agent tools. This IC4 Machine Learning Engineer will help connect vendor AI, in-house agents and human support staff into one smooth chatbot experience.
What you will do
- Build the orchestration layer that handles state, shared context and intent routing between different LLM frameworks
- Write production Python services that bring ML features into customer-facing products
- Take well-defined ML projects from design to launch
- Contribute to system design, coding standards and ML best practices
- Join design reviews to check security, compliance and performance
Who can apply
- 2+ years of professional ML and software engineering experience with production ML services shipped
- Hands-on work with LLMs or deep learning and tools such as LangGraph, LangSmith, Google ADK, Vertex AI or AWS Bedrock
- Strong Python skills and clean, tested code
- Knowledge of NLP, information retrieval, computer vision or statistical modelling, and the ability to write design documents
