About the role
Jumio helps businesses verify identities online and fight fraud and money laundering. This role sits in the Fraud team and builds deep learning and computer vision models that spot fake or tampered ID documents during verification.
What you will do
- Own and improve Jumio's key computer vision models for document fraud
- Design machine learning, deep learning and classical vision methods for fraud detection
- Research new algorithms and help move them into production
- Deploy models as AWS SageMaker endpoints or directly on devices
- Work with engineers and product managers in an Agile team
Who can apply
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, ML or a related field
- 6+ years of commercial ML or deep learning experience (2 years if you hold a Master's)
- Must have trained deep learning models to detect deepfakes, synthetic or AI-generated data
- Strong PyTorch or TensorFlow, scikit-learn and production Python skills, plus model monitoring experience
