About the role
Coinbase, the crypto exchange and financial technology company, is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager for its Data Platform team. The team builds storage, streaming, data lake, analytics and experimentation systems, along with privacy and governance tools for responsible data use.

What you will do
- Lead, coach and grow a team of engineers
- Set and deliver a quarterly roadmap with Product, Design and senior leaders
- Guide technical decisions for reliable distributed systems
- Stay hands-on through design reviews, code reviews, incidents and on-call
- Hire strong engineers with the recruiting team

Who can apply
- 7+ years of software engineering, ideally in data platform or infrastructure, including 2+ years managing engineers
- Experience building and running distributed systems at scale
- A hands-on, execution-focused leadership style
- Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure such as Bitcoin or Ethereum

Salary
The posting lists an annual base salary of ₹9,424,000 to ₹9,424,500 (about ₹94.24 lakh), excluding equity and bonus.
