About the role
Coinbase's IT Tooling team builds the automations behind its internal IT support, including an in-house bot that resolves most employee IT requests. This senior engineer will own key parts of that platform and set its technical direction.
What you will do
- Own the architecture of IT automations built on n8n, Airflow, Temporal and Jira
- Set engineering standards and code review practices for the team
- Lead the most complex automation projects from discovery to production
- Work with Security, Corporate Engineering and IAM teams to clear technical blockers
- Build reusable components and write clear architecture documents and decision records
Who can apply
- 5+ years in IT engineering, automation or systems engineering with real architecture ownership
- Deep experience with n8n, Airflow, Temporal, Jira Automation or Workato
- Strong Git workflow skills, including branching, CI/CD and code reviews
- Working knowledge of Okta, the Slack API and Google Workspace administration
