About the role
Five9 provides cloud contact centre software that handles over three billion customer interactions a year. It needs a senior network engineer to run and automate its networks in a 24/7 SaaS production environment.
What you will do
- Build CI/CD pipelines for testing and zero-downtime network configuration changes
- Drive network-as-code with Git, Ansible, Terraform and Python
- Design and run software-defined and Kubernetes container networking (VXLAN, OVN, Calico)
- Automate firewall and load balancer policies and add security checks to pipelines
- Act as top escalation point for complex routing and overlay issues
Who can apply
- 5+ years in network engineering, DevOps or SRE focused on large-scale network automation
- Expert Ansible, Terraform and Python, including Netmiko, Nornir or NAPALM
- Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN, Linux networking and Kubernetes networking
- Experience with Cisco Nexus, Arista, Palo Alto, Fortinet and F5; VoIP/SIP background is a plus
