About the role
Sophos is a global cybersecurity company that protects around 600,000 organisations with AI-driven security products and managed services. This senior analyst joins the Sophos Red Team, which finds and exploits weaknesses in client environments the way real attackers would.
What you will do
- Run application security tests (web, mobile, API) or network penetration tests (internal and external)
- Use standard and in-house tools to carry out manual testing for advanced attacks
- Write professional assessment reports with findings and fix recommendations
- Lead client calls from kick-off to critical-finding alerts and close-out reviews
- Research new threats, vulnerabilities and exploits
Who can apply
- Usually 7+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree (5+ with a Master's)
- At least 4 years of penetration testing experience
- At least 4 years with tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux or Burp Suite
- Offensive certifications such as CEH, OSCP, GPEN or GWAPT; OWASP Top 10 knowledge is desirable
