About the role
JumpCloud builds a cloud platform for identity, device and access management and works remote-first. It is hiring a Senior Quality Engineer in India to lead testing for major product areas and help developers own quality from the start.
What you will do
- Define and run test strategies covering functional, integration, performance and system testing
- Write and maintain automated tests in Python, Pytest, TypeScript and similar tools
- Help developers run acceptance tests locally and test their own changes
- Reproduce production issues, find root causes and join post-incident reviews
- Mentor junior quality engineers and interview candidates
Who can apply
- 6 to 8 years in test planning, automation frameworks and Agile teams
- Strong skills in Python, Pytest, Playwright, TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience with performance, security, integration and exploratory testing
- Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines; Go testing, AWS or GenAI in testing is a bonus
Work from home details
The role is remote within India and you must be located in and authorised to work in India. Engineers are expected to take part in on-call shifts.
