About the role
JumpCloud runs a cloud platform for identity, device and access management used by organisations around the world. It is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to keep its multi-region services and authentication systems fast, available and cost-efficient.
What you will do
- Improve reliability and performance of microservices and APIs on AWS and GCP
- Build disaster recovery and multi-region failover automation
- Define SLIs, SLOs and error budgets, and lead observability with Datadog
- Run Kubernetes (EKS) clusters with GitOps tools such as Argo CD and Kargo, and manage Terraform code
- Lead incident response and post-incident reviews, and build FinOps cost dashboards
Who can apply
- 8+ years in SRE, DevOps or platform engineering for 24/7 critical systems
- Strong Python or Go for building tools and automation
- Deep Kubernetes and Terraform skills across multi-account AWS setups
- Experience with cloud cost optimisation and disaster recovery design; a CS degree or equivalent
Work from home details
JumpCloud is remote-first, and this role can be done from anywhere in India. You must live in and be authorised to work in India. The role includes on-call shifts, and you must be ready to handle alerts during your assigned shift.
