About the role
JumpCloud brings identity, device and access management into one cloud platform. This senior engineer joins the authorization area and helps ship secure, fast and well-tested services for users around the world.
What you will do
- Build, test and deploy scalable services in Go, Node.js or Python
- Write automated tests for new and older services and enforce CI/CD quality gates
- Work with product and UX teams across time zones to shape requirements
- Define alerts and runbooks that support zero-downtime deployments
- Improve team processes and use AI tools for code and test generation
Who can apply
- 8+ years of professional programming on complex, scalable products
- Strong Go, Node.js and/or Python; willingness to learn Vue.js
- Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and IAM systems
- Terraform and cloud skills, plus comfort with async, written communication in distributed teams
Work from home details
JumpCloud is remote first; you must live in and be authorised to work in India. Engineers take part in on-call shifts, and fluent English is required.
