Job Overview
About the role
Jumio builds identity verification products on Java Spring Boot microservices and web portals running on AWS. This senior QA engineer sets the testing strategy for web, API and event-driven services and helps the whole team build quality in from the start.
What you will do
- Own the automated test strategy across UI, API, contract, integration and end-to-end layers
- Build and maintain test frameworks with Playwright or Selenium in Java or TypeScript
- Test asynchronous SNS/SQS flows and services on ECS, EKS and Lambda, using tools like LocalStack
- Run load and resilience tests with JMeter, k6 or Gatling and plug tests into CI/CD
- Use AI coding tools to speed up test writing and mentor other QA engineers
Who can apply
- Senior hands-on experience in test automation for distributed systems
- Strong Java (Spring Boot) and/or JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- Experience with REST API testing, AWS services and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Ability to track quality metrics and reduce flaky tests
