About the role
JumpCloud provides a unified platform for identity, device and access management. It is hiring a hands-on Staff Data Scientist to lead machine learning and LLM work and to build an AI stack that automates complex analytics workflows.
What you will do
- Own the AI roadmap from sizing opportunities and prototyping to deployment and impact measurement
- Build real-time anomaly detection and models for churn, pricing and revenue forecasting
- Develop AI agents for automated analysis with clear, explainable insights
- Set standards for model development, LLM evaluation, observability and cost control
- Coach analysts and explain trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders
Who can apply
- 8+ years across analytics, data science, LLMs and applied machine learning
- Strong Python, SQL, statistics and common ML frameworks, plus MLOps experience
- Hands-on work with LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings and agent frameworks
- Knowledge of identity threat signals and experience in data-first startups are a plus
