About the role
JumpCloud makes a unified identity, device and access management platform. This Staff Software Engineer will be the technical anchor for its privileged access and password manager products, setting architecture and guiding several engineering squads.
What you will do
- Own the technical vision for high-throughput microservices and multi-platform apps
- Write RFCs and architecture decision records and present them to leadership
- Write production code in C#, .NET, Go, TypeScript and gRPC
- Design PAM and SCIM architectures that follow Zero Trust and least privilege
- Drive delivery automation, testing and governed AI-assisted coding across teams
Who can apply
- 12+ years of software development, including work as a staff, principal or lead architect
- History of company-level architecture decisions and leading multi-team projects
- Advanced C#, .NET (ABP), Go, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and DocumentDB
- Hands-on PAM, SCIM, AWS or GCP, Kubernetes and Playwright testing experience
Work from home details
JumpCloud is remote first; you must live in and be authorised to work in India. Engineers take part in on-call shifts, and fluent English is required.
