About the role
Sophos is a cybersecurity leader whose X-Ops experts deliver round-the-clock threat monitoring and response. This team lead will supervise threat analysts and guide them through security incident investigations.
What you will do
- Oversee daily work of threat analysts and their investigations
- Lead incident response and find root cause and resolution
- Handle sophisticated malware and active threat actors hands-on
- Produce indicators of compromise from attacker tools and techniques
- Turn threat intelligence into practical detection and response actions
Who can apply
- 5+ years in cybersecurity; leadership experience preferred
- SOC experience with IDS/IPS, EDR and malware defence monitoring
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, incident response procedures and network traffic analysis
- Windows administration plus Linux or macOS knowledge; SQL and OSQuery are a plus
