About the role
GitLab builds a DevSecOps platform used by millions of developers. This recruiter joins the R&D hiring team and owns engineering and product searches from intake to signed offer.
What you will do
- Run complete hiring cycles for roles such as backend, frontend, SRE, security and data engineers, engineering managers and product managers
- Hold kickoff meetings with hiring managers to agree on role scope, interview plans and timelines
- Design sourcing plans that mix inbound applicants, referrals, internal talent and direct outreach in tech communities
- Use funnel data, pay benchmarks and market research to adjust each search
- Keep candidates informed, manage offers and record everything accurately in Greenhouse
Who can apply
- Intermediate-level recruiting experience with full-cycle searches handled on your own
- Technical recruiting background, or a strong wish to learn how software teams and tech stacks work
- Hands-on use of an ATS and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter or SeekOut, plus clear written and spoken communication
- Exposure to DevSecOps, developer tools or open source hiring is a bonus, not a must
