Site Reliability Engineer – Sophos (Remote, India)

About the role
Sophos is a cybersecurity company that protects around 600,000 organisations with endpoint, network, cloud and managed detection products. Its SRE team keeps these products reliable, secure and fast, and is hiring an engineer to build and run AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes services.

What you will do
- Write and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Run highly available, cost-efficient and secure AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes-based microservices
- Handle production releases, incident response and root cause analysis
- Set up monitoring and alerting with Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch or similar tools

Who can apply
- 3–5 years of experience in site reliability engineering
- Strong Terraform, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes skills with a security-first approach
- Solid Linux, networking and scripting knowledge (Bash, Python or similar)
- Experience with incident management and cloud cost optimisation
