Chief Architect – JumpCloud (Remote, India)

About the role
JumpCloud provides a unified platform for identity, device and access management and works remote-first. The company wants a Chief Architect, reporting to the Head of Engineering, to shape its next-generation platform architecture and lead the use of AI across its core systems.

What you will do
- Review the current platform and drive major design changes that use new AI capabilities
- Act as the main champion for AI inside and outside the company
- Advise the Head of Engineering and executives on technical and AI strategy
- Design secure, highly scalable systems for global identity workflows
- Mentor engineers and managers and run deep competitive technical analysis

Who can apply
- 15+ years in software engineering or architecture, with at least 4 years on deep AI integrations
- Experience in identity and access management, directory services, zero trust or endpoint management
- Track record of building distributed cloud systems and data pipelines at very large scale
- Strong executive communication and leadership by influence
